Bliss Bay is a fictional village in the south-west of England, created from my memories of holidays in Devon and Cornwall over the years.
Megan Fallon is a divorced single mother who loses her job and her fiancé, and waves her daughter off on a gap year, all in the space of a week. In need of some much-needed friends and family time, she returns to her childhood home of Bliss Bay village.
What more could possibly go wrong?

Quite frankly, after the week she’s had, Megan could do with a change of scene. When news of a family celebration reaches her ears, she packs a bag and leaves for her childhood village home for some long-overdue friends and family time.
With a party to organise, a flirtatious ex-husband and his jealous wife to avoid, a mischievous favourite uncle who’s on the lookout for adventure, a clumsy childhood acquaintance who has undergone a startling transformation, and a cantankerous tabby cat to contend with, Megan has her hands full.
However, what started off as a leisurely break takes a chilling turn when members of the community start getting bumped off at an alarming rate, and Megan finds herself at the heart of an investigation that has her suspecting everyone.
Could the murderer be the local finance advisor, whose misjudged investment recommendation cost his clients their life savings?
Or maybe the village celebrity; a footballer who appears to have at least one skeleton in a cupboard he’d prefer was kept firmly locked?
Or what about a member of a classical music trio who seem to have plenty of secrets they’d rather keep to themselves?
Or is the killer someone else entirely?
As she becomes involved in the hunt for a murderer, it’s not long before Megan finds out that some of the villagers are hiding secrets they’d rather keep to themselves…

Empty-nester, and reluctant amateur sleuth, Megan Fallon, is back in the second book in The Bliss Bay Village Mystery Series.
Picking up where book one ended, Megan is putting her past troubles well and truly behind her, and focusing on settling back into village life, and her new job.
Meanwhile, her childhood friend, American, Jack Windsor, is renovating the old village school, and is looking for a four-legged friend to share his new home with.
All is well in Bliss Bay until obituaries start appearing on the church noticeboard for villagers who are still very much alive, and the village is thrown into turmoil.
Is the well-respected family who is being targeted the subject of a very bad joke, or are the obituaries a sign of something far more sinister?
And who is responsible when an unassuming member of the village is murdered?
Could a 40 year-old suspicious death hold the key to solving the murder, or is that simply a red herring to put detectives off the scent of the real killer?
Is the murderer a retired bank manager?
Or could it be his wife, who was the subject of controversial gossip years before?
Is the village busybody responsible? Her hatred for two high-profile suspects is well-known among the villagers, and her motives are personal.
Or is the killer someone else entirely?
As a reluctant Megan is drawn into the mystery by her crime-busting, TV detective show-loving, Uncle Des, secrets and lies come to light, but will they help find the person, or persons, responsible for the deaths?

Event organiser, Megan Fallon, needs to find a killer before the biggest night of the year in Bliss Bay village; a charity dinner and auction to raise funds for local children’s charities. After all, there’s nothing like a murderer on the loose to put a dampener on the party spirit.

They could be onto something after a mysterious rocking horse offers up a clue to the identity of the murderer but, with so many suspects and the body count rising, how will they solve the mystery before another innocent person is targeted?
As the hunt for the killer intensifies, it soon becomes clear that no one is safe.

So many secrets, so many schemers, So many lies and misdemeanours…
Event organiser, Megan Fallon, is gearing up for a concert in honour of the oldest tree in the county: the ancient village oak on Bliss Bay’s village green.
What she’s not gearing up for, though, is stumbling over the dead body of Bliss Bay’s most unpopular villager, under the oak tree’s sprawling boughs.
With a murder investigation underway, a mystery that has everyone looking like a suspect, and a cat that needs a new home, there’s also the small matter of the theft of forty-eight garden gnomes to get to the bottom of…
Will you guess who, and why, before the big reveal?

It’s summer in Bliss Bay.
Ladybirds have descended upon the village, and event organiser Megan Fallon has a diary as clear as the sky.
Although her wedding to American fiancé Jack Windsor is a year away, excitement surrounding the biggest event of her life (after the birth of her daughter Evie, of course) is already building, and she’s determined that nothing will take the edge off it.
However, when a visitor to the village is found dead in suspicious circumstances—alone in his rented cottage with all the doors and windows locked from the inside—the police are left scratching their heads.
And when Megan’s ex-husband and her arch rival find themselves in a situation that leaves them desperate, will she be prepared to forget the past and offer to help them out of a fix?

On a spring night, a lone nightingale starts to sing in the boughs of the old village oak tree and a local psychic predicts that it will sing every night until a village mystery is solved…
As if the excitement surrounding Megan and Jack’s forthcoming nuptials isn’t enough, a TV antiques show arrives in Bliss Bay to film an episode on the village green, and a trinket Des bought years ago in a junk shop for pennies turns out to be worth thousands… and a magnet for trouble.
And when Jack finds a mysterious package on his doorstep, it’s the start of a journey that will change his and Megan’s lives forever.
Pull up a comfortable chair, grab a cuppa, and join in the fun in the final Bliss Bay Village Mystery.
